About The Danecastre Lodge

Danecastre is a Masonic Lodge which is part of the Yorkshire West Riding Masonic Province which in turn is part of the United Grand Lodge of England. Lodge meetings are held on the last Wednesday of every month from September to April (with the exception of December which is on the 3rd Thursday) at the Mason Hall in Priory Place Doncaster

The Lodge was consecrated in 1926 and has over the years developed with the times into a vibrant and social Masonic Lodge, which hosts not only enjoyable Masonic meetings but a variety of informal social events which are held throughout then year. It also provides the opportunity to join in the many Provincial social activities, these social activities both those run by the Lodge or Province are open to both Masons and Non Masons to attend and enjoy.

Danecastre as with all Masonic Lodge instills in its members a moral, ethical and charitable approach to life, its values are based on integrity, kindness, honesty and fairness and whilst members are taught to regard family as their highest priority the charitable side of masonry is also high on the agenda with concern and care for all people, care for the less fortunate and help those in need. All charitable donations given by either the individual Lodge, Province or United Grand Lodge are raised entirely from within the organisation.
